During the first half of my career I focused on production and worked part time as an instructor. The second half was a complete shift, moving away from full time studio work and focusing on education. My approach to teaching is to equip students not only with production skills, but life skills. Collaboration, communication and problem solving are at the core of how I approach the classroom..

As the Creative Director at the Vancouver Film School, I helped reshaped the 3D Animation & VFX Program which was designated the Best Animation School in Canada by Animation Career Review. I also lead the launch of the Animation Concept Art Program focused on design and visual development, a first of its kind in Canada. Currently, I am a faculty member at the British Columbia Institute of Technology teaching in the School of Business and Media.
